An original monotype in oil on paper by Hiroyuki Suzuki, being shaped – deep pink B (2014) features an elongated pink form tapering to a fine point. Small horizontal breaks and delicate linear marks interrupt the colour, suggesting a fold between two connected planes.
Set within generous space, the geometric form balances a broad upper section with a sharp downward movement. The paper’s visible texture brings subtle variations to the coloured surface.
