Green Butterfly is an intimate sculpture by Haruka Miyamoto, crafted with remarkable precision from leather and silk. Miyamoto’s expertise in delicate, hand-formed creatures has been recognized internationally. Earlier in her career, she was commissioned to create the butterflies that adorned Cinderella’s gown in Disney’s live-action film Cinderella—a milestone that affirmed her mastery of sculptural textile work. The same sensitivity and craftsmanship resonate in this piece.
On the underside of the wing, the butterfly is discreetly signed by the artist, reinforcing its uniqueness and collectability.
