This artwork by Ortaire de Coupigny, titled Swim Squad Friendship, features five sculpted fish enclosed within a circular frame. The fish are arranged to suggest movement and connection, creating a natural flow across the composition. Their placement and orientation evoke the idea of a shared journey or purpose, akin to friends navigating life together.
Painted in shades of green, blue, purple, and gold, the fish form a vibrant yet balanced palette that contrasts with the subdued resin background. Each fish is unique in size and coloration, yet their collective presence conveys themes of cmovement and togetherness. This artwork exemplifies Ortaire de Coupigny ability to transform simple subjects into evocative narratives, leaving space for the viewer’s imagination to engage with the piece.
